Tanners Left Foot Progress!

I finally figured out the movie feature on my camera.( Actuatlly Joe did)

It took Tanner some time to talk Tanner into showing off. I guess he

has been doing this for a couple weeks so its old news to him. But I

wanted to share with everyone! Thanks for your comments. We

appreciate all of you and your support. It makes us feel good

when they come in knowing that people are still praying and

thinking of us.

Good Morning Tanner,
May I just say your feet look absolutely fantastic and the fact that you are working them is great!
Also, it is so fun to see your smile as you are outside in the truck and snow firing your weapons. Brock, Derek, and Ray love that too.
Kelsea, you are a gorgeous girl. I don't know who your date was, but he is a lucky guy. Seeing all of your friends ready for the dance made me remember Brock's prom in 1998 when your Dad took all of Brock's friends and their dates to the dance in the Cabs of these shiny red and black Semis.
Ask him about that.
Tanner, I have President Hinkley's book "Stand A Little Taller". In it he has a thought for everyday of the year. I have not picked it up for a while but decided I would today. So I will share with you today's thought from him.

STRENGTHEN FAITH AND TESTIMONY

But wilt thou know,
O vain man,
that faith without works
is dead.
-James 2:20

Faith and testimony are like the muscles of my arm. If I use those muscles and nourish them, they grow stronger. If I put my arm in a sling, and leave it there, it becomes weak and ineffective, and so it is with testimony.

You, Tanner, all ready know how to live this principle as I see you do your push-ups and other exercises that no one sees you do. But God sees you do all you can to strengthen your body and your faith and testimony. You are a mentor for all of us.

P.S. I Love your smile! I Love how your smile brightens everyones day!
Love, Brenda

Tanner,
I was so excited to see that video of your foot moving. I must have watched it ten times. I showed everyone...they are so excited for you and your progress. How do you do it? YOU are the one bringing hope to all the people who know you...shouldn't it be the other way around? Thank you for being such a source of strength in our lives. We love you!

Wow, Stacy and Tanner. I don't know if you remember us, The Votaw's (Jaime and Joel) but we moved out of the ward about 2 years ago or more now. Joel was driving around the old neighborhood today and saw Tanner in a wheelchair and then he saw the ramp. He was so concerned he called me on my cell and I then started calling any old CV ward members I had still in my cell. I got a hold of the Brown's and found out what had happened. Tanner wow! I know you will be just fine though, your family is so awesome and so resiliant that I know you are doing great and walking I am sure with in a very short period of time. You come from such an awesome family that if anybody or any family can handle this trial (minor speed bump really) that it is you and your family. I look forward to checking this blog daily and watching your progress. If there is anything at all we can do to help please ask! We are in AZ right now but Joel is in UT for work everyweek. We are here to help and support. We miss your family and wish we could be closer to be able to help more. Our love and prayers are all yours and I know you will press forward and will overcome!
