Monday - December 10th

Today Tanner did great in Physical Therapy. One of his therapist said he thinks
he will be home by Christmas, because of his great progress. Also to clear up
any questions about the Security. Nobody got escorted out. They just wanted
to use there badge. I am sure the nurses got a talking too, the team members
apologized to me and said that we would not have that problem again. I feel that this
is one of the most important therapies for him. LOVE!
Today we had a good friend come and do acupuncture on Tanners back. It was
way cool to see him do this. He explained the energy that runs along the sides of his
spine. He felt very good about his energy.
Until tomorrow, our love and prayers.

Tanner,
I never got the chance to fill out a letter for your tree at the ward Christmas party. I was going too crazy that night. Old people have a hard time keeping focused on too many things at the same time. So at the Christmas party next year I will have you there putting up and taking down all the heavy stuff cause you will be our "miracle man" of the year and I will need your muscle!!!!!

P.S. You keep going for it! There are times you must trust that silent voice inside you. The experts don't always have the right answers.

According to the laws of aerodynamics the bumble bee cannot fly. I guess no one bothered to tell the bee!
Keep flying!
Love,

Tanner, you could take me down when I was your age and you were 9!! I know how tough and determined you are and you can and will overcome this obstacle! There are people in Seattle sending love and positive thoughts for you and your family.

To a speedy recovery!

Hey Tanner, even though I haven't made it up to the hospital to see your sunshiny face, you are in every prayer offered at this house. Hope you and your family are reading the Christmas stories I dropped off. They are hopefully inspirational. There are more coming! We are so excited about your toe and stomach movement! That's awesome! Keep up the attitude! Love, Slaters

Tanner,
I went over to your house today and it is a beehive of activity. It is looking so great inside your room. Lots of guys working and it is awesome to see. The room is going to be great!
I have got candy refills for your candy jar. I will either get them over to your Mom or bring them myself.
I want to share with you a scripture from the D&C that I love.
I think of you when I read it and how much the Lord loves you.
D&C 84:88 And whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my spirit shall be in your hearts, and my angels round about you, to bear you up.
It was written for missionaries and I believe for you. The Lord is there for you!

P.S. Today give a stranger one of your smiles. It might be the only sunshine he sees all day. And everyone deserves to see your smile.
Love, Brenda

Tanner,
I know that we were never very close in school, but I just wanted to tell you how much your situation has affected me. Hearing about it was really a wake up call to me about my own life, and a reminder of what a strong person you are.
There are more people thinking about you and pulling for you than you know. Don't give up and don't ever believe in someone else's limits.
