Tanners Physical Therapy-Tues

Tanner has kicked into Physical Therapy. He is getting stronger everyday.
When they stand him up it helps him put pressure on his bones which keeps them strong. Also helps with the muscles. As Dave was talking to Tanner he was helping him vision his muscles working and messages getting through. What a powerful tool.
We all need to help him BELIEVE he can do this. Brenda Morris has put this message all over his room. Thank you Brenda for your daily messages and inspirational thoughts for him. Thank you everyone for the comments, I want you to know we read these everyday. I have made Tanner a book in case he (or any of us) have a day we can look through it.

We are all pulling for Tanner and all the Godfreys! Best of luck guys. We know that the Godfreys are as tough as hell! All will be good! Much love and respect.

Tanner,
I'm back for better or worse. Loved all the new slide shows.. You look amazing in your physical therapy. Tell Dave Ross he is a Tanner wanna be, but looks like a great support.
There is a great little article in our April 2007 BYU Alumni Magazine. I know, forget it is BYU. Anyway, I actually sent the story to Derek in the spring when I knew he was trying to get through all of his boards and tests for dental school. I guess it also hit home to me because as a little girl I was always terrified at night when I would go to bed.
It is about a Utah attorney Richard N. Barnes. He swam the English channel in 2005. He says one of his greatest fears was swimming in darkness. He calls it
darkness. Fuel exhaust. Heaving sikness. Bitter cold water like daggers on the skin. He kept telling himself, "Just keep swimming to the sunrise."
That it exactly what you are doing too. There is always darkness, and there will always be the light of a sunrise.

P.S. Odd as it sounds to you right now, what you are becoming is more important than what you are accomplishing. Here Comes the Sun! ( that is right from the Beattles) Love, Brenda
