Tanners Therapy Of Love!!!! - Friday Morning

You can never have enough of this.(love therapy) I put these pictures to show the
real physical therapy that has helped us all. I have missed some pictures
when people have come to visit, but you all know who you are and we have
been overwhelmed the true spirit of Christmas. It is the many gifts of love
that has been dedicated to our family through many acts of kindness that we will
never be able to truely express our gratitude. There no words I can even start to
think of I hope you can feel the love and gratitude in our hearts. You have helped us to rise to this challange with all of you holding us up. We Thank each and everyone, and love you all!

Today we will be bringing Tanner home for a Christmas party at his Grandma's
he will be back to the hospital around 9:00. This next week will be an exciting
and exhausting week. We will have him home on Christmas Eve, hopefully early, and
return on Christmas night. (Late) Then will we have him home for good on Friday the
28th.

Late last night I pulled up your website and was again touched. I started to write a message to you of the love you have been shown, but it was late and my mind was mush so I decided to wait until this morning to write when I could think more clearly. This morning, I saw the pictures your Mom posted on your "Therapy of Love" what an awesome thing! I have seen and heard of the love in my daily phone calls with your Mom. You are truly surrounded in love- the love of parents, family, friends, ward members, neighbors the list goes on and on. I thought it was cool to see your Dad's buddies at your house preparing a place for you. There is no doubt that you and your family are loved. You have come to a bump in the road of life - love will be the bridge that will get you over that bump. We all love you and pray for you daily. It is great to see your smile - keep smiling - YOU ROCK!!!
Love always,
Julie Cattani

Tanner,

I was so sorry to hear of this happening but know that you have the character and faith to overcome this trial and become ever stronger. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all the other members of your family. I do miss meeting up with you all and hope that by the time of my next visit to the USA (in March) you will be running around again! Keep smiling and know that you are a favored son of Heavenly Father and by putting your trust in Him all will be well.

Much love to you and the family,

Sheila Bibb

Tanner,
Merry Christmas from all of the Morris'. So glad you and all of your family will be together! Christmas is always a time of beautiful magic, miracles, love, and believing. May you and your family have them all.
I read on and off a book called "tuesdays with Morrie". It is quite amazing. It is a book about a college professor named Morrie Schwartz. It is a true story. One of his previous college students, Mitch Album wrote the book. In around 1994 Morrie discovers he has a horrific disease and is dieing from Lou Gehrig's disease. Mitch decides to go and see him every Tuesday and learn from him as long as he can. Lou Gehrig's disease is such a hideous illness that eventually takes away every body, nerve and muscle function there is. So as I read the book I would think, "come on Morrie, you are all ready old. Why keep on with this positive living thing?" ( but that's just me with one of those "game over" moments I told you about)
Anyway, the book goes on to say Morrie keeps writing down his little philosophy's and sharing them with family and friends.
Anyway, you may be saying by now, Sister Morris why are you rambling on and on???? That is a very good question. I guess because I can and no one can say,"Mom, please, give it up."
so now as to the part that made me think of you.........

On one of the days Morrie said to Mitch who was visiting him,
"Have I told you the tensions of opposites?" He goes on.
"Life is a series of pulls back and forth. You want to do one thing, but you are bound to do something else. Something hurts you, yet you know it shouldn't. You take certain things for granted, even when you should never take anything for granted.
" A tension of opposites, like a pull on a rubber band. And most of us live somewhere in the middle."
"Sounds like a wrestling match to me", Mitch says.
"A wrestling match, yes you could describe it that way."
"So which side wins?" Mitch asks.
Morrie smiles, the crinkled eyes, the crooked teeth. "Love wins. Love always wins!"
And so it is for you, Tanner, all your love and the love that surrounds will win!

P.S. This is really long so read it on a day when you are really bored with nothing to do. Like that is going to happen. Know you and your family are loved.
Everyday we are given stones.
But what do we build?
Is it a bridge or is it a wall?
Love, love, love ya,
Sister Morris
